Output Door

Handcrafted manufacturing is experiencing fundamental change by todays digital change. Bringing together digital interconnection and craftsmanship, process operation can run simultaneously: saving both time and resources.

Techniques from motor and aerospace industries have been adapted to implement this door shape. The wave-like door leaf consists of wellboard, a wooden plate made of cellulose. Acoustic insulation is being ensured by woodfibre integrated in cavities. This construction makes the door a lightweight with a especially soft haptic caused by the ecological, fireproof surface material called PUxx which is known for its durability, resistency towards liquids and sanitizers.
The output door is innovative – not only in its production but also in its choice of material – making it a possible new progress in the door production industry.
